Maximize Gain of Ramadan

Maximize Gain of Ramadan
In Ramadan multiply our deeds by 70. So we need to give concentration on Ibadah. We must know the definition of Ibadah. In Islam all activities can be Ibadah if we do this in how Allah & the Prophet (peace be upon him) say.
  • Pray 5 times a day in time with jamat. If possible don’t miss sunnah Salah. And say more and more nafil Salah.
  • Invite to others in truth.
  • Increase Dhikr. Try and cash every moment by doing Dhikr &don't waste time. Whenever we are not talking do Dhikr.
  • Keep control in our eye, ear, month, hand, leg, and mind. Do well things and avoid wrong things which are prohibited in Islam.
  • Repent for all sins and be constant in seeking Allah's forgiveness (pardon, Astaghfar). This is the time to firstly realize our sins and cry for forgiveness.
  • Increase acts of charity and discharge sadaqatul fitr and zakat. Remaber in Ramazan that gets further multiplied by 70.
  • If your holding a grudge against anyone this is the best time to patch things up or at least try (it doesn't matter if it’s not your fault).
  • Distribute iftari to others. So give whatever youcan even if it is just a date.
  • Incrise nafil ibaadah.
  • Follow sunnah.
  • Go to the poor and talk to them, ask their problems and help them out in any way that can.
  • The prayer of the fasting person is guaranteed to be accepted at the time of breaking fast. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Three prayers are not rejected: the prayer of a father, the prayer of a fasting person, and the prayer of a traveler." (al-Bayhaqi).
  • We should take advantage of our good health and spend lots of time at the Masjid, especially the last 10 days of Ramadan which called Itikaf.
  • The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Eat Suhor for in Suhor there is blessing."(Bukhari, Muslim).
  • The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Seek Lailat ul-Qadr among the odd numbered nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan." (Bukhari, Muslim).
  • Some people the entire month of Ramadan revolves around food. They spend the entire day planning, cooking, shopping and thinking about only food. We should avoid this.
  • Avoid junk food such as fried and fatty foods, foodscontaining too much sugar, over-eating, taking too much tea, coffee, soft drink… These may make us weaker. Because of these things make extra load in our body.
  • Don’t eat too much. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Fill stomach one-third for food, one-third for drink and one-third for air." (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah).
  • Some of the sisters (either by their own choice or forced by their husbands) are cooking all day and night, so that by the end of the day, they are too tired to even pray Isha, let alone pray Taraweeh or Tahajjud or even read Quran. This is the month of mercy and
forgiveness. So turn off that stove and turn on Iman.
  • For many of us Ramadan has lost its spirituality and has become more of a ritual than a form of Ibadah. We fast from morning to night like a zombie just because everyone around us is fasting too. We forget that Ramadan is a time to purify our hearts and our souls from all evil.
  • Don't waste time by sleeping. Some people spend their entire day (or a major part of it) sleeping away their fast. Is this what is really required of us during this noble month?
  • We should try and spend every moment possible in the worship of Allah so that we can make the most of this blessing.
  • Avoid playing video games, or worse still, listening to music.
  • Give up lying, cursing, fighting, backbiting, cheating, stealing, dealing in haram, buying lotto tickets, selling/taking alcohol, smoking, fornication, etc.
  • Don’t miss fasting even you have Exams or extra(?) work.
  • Don’t waste time for preparing Eid.
